Keeping a Holy Lent: All-Church Retreat ~ Sat Mar 4, 9am - Noon
Start Lent with an all-church, all-ages, retreat on Sat Mar 4, with continental breakfast at 8:30 and program from 9:00 to noon. John, Rachel and Lois will discuss prayer, worship, and Bible study practices, while children and youth are led by Kate Burleigh and Shannon Headen.
Lent is a time for deepening our relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, worship, and acts of charity and justice. The theme this year is “Keeping a Holy Lent.” Please join us as we set our intentions for this important season in our communal and individual lives. Together let us prepare ourselves for the journey to the cross, and, thanks be to God, to the empty tomb!
