Class description: The first candle on a traditional Advent wreath represents Hope. We will focus on Hope for the entire month of Advent this year.
The “Hope” classes in the Follow Me curriculum combine Bible study and group discussion. Working together with specific scripture passages, we as group members will help each other grow into a deeper understanding of Hope as a Biblical practice. We will identify where in our own lives we have already experienced hope. Then we will envision how we can practice seeing, hearing, offering and receiving, and proclaiming hope more deeply to one another.
