Compline ~ Sunday, Nov. 10 @ 7pm
The choir is offering a special Compline service in memory of poet Dan Rourke on Sun. Nov 10, 7pm. Compline is an ancient monastic service sung at the end of the day. The sanctuary is candle-lit and cantor John Lentz along with the choir sings from the pews. The congregation sits in the choir rows, transepts or front of the church.Several of Dan’s evocative and deeply-spiritual poems read by his close friend and colleague, Joe Toner, from St. Ignatius School.
