The next Immigration Prayer Vigil will be Thurs. Oct. 3 @ 4pm at the Celebreeze Federal Building on the corner of E. 9th St. and Lakeside Ave. There is parking in the Willard garage which you can enter off of E. 9th St. or Lakeside Ave. Rev. Lisa O’Rear from St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Mentor will be our leader.

Heights Friends of Immigrants ~ Tuesday, Oct 1 @ 7pm

Come hear Dr. Arthur Lavin from Doctors Organized for Health Care Solution speak at the Heights Friends of Immigrants meeting on Tues. Oct. 1, 7pm at St. Dominic Church, 19000 Van Aken Blvd in Shaker Hts. Dr. Lavin will discuss working with attorneys to assist immigrants who are in jail and those facing bond hearings.

They will be joined by members from a coalition of persons of faith from various northeast Ohio faith communities created in wake of the Sandy Hook shootings.
