Lenten practices often focus on sacrificing a bit of life’s pleasures without considering how Jesus’ death was and is a miraculous act of love in and of itself. This 3-week study led by Tom Zych will explore how and why the crucifixion and death of Jesus provides a model of selfless love and what it means to triumph over death. Class will meet at 9:30am on Sundays, Mar. 31 – Apr. 14 at 9:30am in South Hall. Adult Ed and Justice & Mission will also lead a group discussion on Apr. 28 at 9:30am about experiences of Lent.
