Family Camp at Punderson ~ August 9-11

Group to Picnic by the Lake/ Attend Mamma Mia ~ Sun, July 28 after 2 pm

The Group invites all who are interested to attend the annual outing to the Hanna-Stauffer cottage in Madison, Ohio, Come anytime after 2:00pm on Sun. July 28 and enjoy views of the lake. Urban Farm Tour ~ Thursday, July 18, 2:00 – 4:00pm

The Reconnecting with God’s Creation in the 21st Century class discovered an urban farm, Rid-All Green Partnerships, doing exceptional things for the environment and its inner city Cleveland neighborhood: growing healthy produce, creating soil, raising tilapia, teaching and employing youth as gardeners. Summer Choir begins! June 2 through July 28

Summer Choir begins Sunday, June 2 with rehearsals  at 9:30am every Sunday before the 10:00am worship service. The music will be easy to learn, and singers of all ages (even babes-in-arms) are most welcome to participate. No hot choir robes–just come as you are. Bring the whole family and experience the worship service from the other side. The Summer Choir sings through July.

Civil Rights Pilgrimage: Birmingham, Selma and Montgomery ~ Oct 17-20

The Racial Inclusion Committee is planning a 4-day pilgrimage to Alabama, October 17 -20, to experience  the history of the civil rights struggle in our nation.  If interested, let us know right away (firm reservations due by June 30.) The cost will be $600 for hotels, all museum admissions, three breakfasts, and bus transportation. Juneteenth Celebration ~ Sunday, June 23 after worship

Come and celebrate Juneteenth Independence Day! After worship on Sun, June 23, we will celebrate the June 19, 1865 announcement in Texas of the abolition of slavery. Juneeenth is a State Holiday in Texas and a joyful time of food, music, and fellowship. All ages are invited to enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, and beverages with potluck dishes greatly accepted!
