Boulevard School Supply Drive! ~ Donate by Aug. 19
Once again we are collecting school supplies for Boulevard Elementary School. Help the kids get off to a great start by donating items from the list below. Leave your donation in the marked box on the stage in Fellowship Hall by Sun. Aug. 19. Questions? Email Jessica Kelley.
Suggested items: spiral one-subject notebooks; two-pocket folders; crayons (8 or 12 count boxes); fat or skinny markers; highlighters; loose-leaf lined paper; glue sticks; pencils; rulers; pencil boxes; sharpeners; large pink erasers; dry erase markers; post-it notes.
New this year: Karen Allen, the social worker at Boulevard Elementary notes a special need, which is that some children need items other than school supplies to start the year. These can include a pair of shoes, hair supplies, or other personal essentials. You can opt to donate a gift card to Target or Walmart for such use. Suggested: $10 – $20. Place these gift cards in the Justice and Mission mailbox or in the offering plate, clearly marked “Boulevard.”
