Longest Night Service ~ Wednesday, Dec. 20, 7:00pm
If the events in your life make it hard to celebrate this season, consider coming to the Longest Night service on Wed. Dec. 20, 7pm, at Church on the Saviour (on Lee Rd. in Cleve Hts.). Rev. Lois Annich will be preaching at this collaboration of four area churches.Designed as a time apart for those challenged by the holidays, Longest Night services, sometimes referred to as Blue Christmas services, celebrate Christmas quietly, in a way that honors the darkness as well as the light. The death of a loved one, a relationship or family separation, a job layoff, or another form of personal or family loss — these events can make it difficult to find joy or even to cope with the holiday season. May you find comfort there.
