Compline Service ~ Sunday, March 1 @ 7:30pm
Our Mar. 1, 7:30pm candle-lit Compline service provides time and space for silence and mystic communion with the Divine. The service of Plainsong and anthems by William Billings and Richard Farrant is sung from the pews by cantor and choir. Enter in silence and receive the blessings of the mystery. Meditation and contemplation, folded in prayer, chant, and music, are the essence of Compline—one of the monastic prayer services of the Christian church, and the last religious observance at day’s end.
