Compline Service ~ Sunday, Nov. 16 @ 7:30pm
Forest Hill’s Compline service on Sun. Nov. 16 @7:30 pm will provide worshipers time and space for silence, meditation, and mystic communion with the Divine. The service is sung, unaccompanied, with the choir singing from the pews. We will enter the candle-lit sanctuary in silence and simply receive the blessings of the mystery. Meditation and contemplation, folded in prayer, chant, and music, are the essence of Compline—one of the monastic prayer services of the Christian church, and the last religious observance at day’s end.
