Where Do Your Mission $$$s Go? Find out Sun. Mar. 25

On Sunday, March 25 after worship, Pix Mahler, PCUSA Haiti Regional Liaison, will address us on the PCUSA’s World Missions and share a visual presentation on Haiti. This is a great chance to learn about our global missionary efforts and “where” and “how” your dollars are spent in the world. With 21 years experience in Haiti and having just returned from a trip in February, Pix will have current information on the eco-village projects the the Haiti Team will be visiting.

Pix Mahler has been the Regional Liaison/Partnership Facilitator for Haiti since January 2005. She is a stateside-based mission co-worker and travels frequently to Haiti from her home in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pix served as a Hunger Action Enabler with the Presbytery of the Peaks for 14 years before she was appointed PC(USA) Regional Liaison for Haiti. She serves God’s mission from a U.S. home base, traveling to Haiti as well as throughout the PCUSA, nurturing relationships between Presbyterians in the United States and various ministries of the PC(USA)’s partners in Haiti.

She is an Elder, Clerk of Session, sings tenor in the choir and is a member of several committees in her home church, Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Pix met her husband of 43 years when they were students at Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee. They are parents of a married son.
